Essential Oils?? doTERRA

I've been using some oils now for a while. Different brands And I have to admit I like some company's over others.

I have been using doTERRA  Breathe for a year now and I'm off my inhalers. I was doing better last year but still had to wear my mask while outside, most of the time. (Not just because of COVID) anyway I started a new medication that is natural and is has boosted the effectiveness of the oils. No mask while outside on my porch...

So... I thought I would share with you all a link to the lady that helped me. Her name is Viola Gatlin. She is a real sweet Lady!  you can reach her at this link Viola

And just so you know, I'm not selling anything, I get nothing out of it if you order. That's not why I'm sharing this. It truly has helped me and I wanted to share. I know all people are different and what works for one might not another. But you won't know if it will help unless you try.

I'll be posting some cards again soon. in 2 weeks playing with paper I've made about 50 cards. My sister runs out of cards faster than I can make them for her. lol and my daughter has asked for a few, so...

Hope you all have a wonderful week.

It's been a while...

Well hello" I never really did much over at bloglovin...LOL

Hubby and I moved out of mom's so we are considered empty nesters again. I'm not crazy about having and empty nest. But guess I'll get use to it.

Our middle son had to have another back surgery. We got him a special chair as he can't sit very well. I just have to share. It is from Autonomous. He did all the research for the chair he wanted. and I'm thinking of getting me one of them too. If you want to look at there site check them out through my link please. Autonomous  I can get a gift for referral and it will help me get the chair I want for my craft room.

Anyway, I've still been following a lot of crafters. Love JenofEve Designs on YouTube, and Karen Burniston dies. I love her pop ups. so clever and cute. and so easy to make.

Well hopefully see you soon, Leve me a message if you are so inclined;)

Change over to Bloglovin

I’m changing over to Bloglovin as Google is changing so many things. I actually thought blogger and Bloglovin was the same thing for a short timeπŸ˜‚ my brain is more a sive lately. Sorry I have been so quiet hear... but have been quite everywhere lately.

Helping my mama and teenage girl is taking time, not that I do that much. We all work at helping each other. I feel so bad for mama as I can’t do anything for her pain. And having raised 3 boys, having my niece now is fun, and educational. Girls are so SO different than raising boys. lol But I love her as my own and wouldn’t change having her for anything!

Well life keeps going... and I must get going too. Love to all!
Thanks for reading and sharing with me.

My FIRST time to fly🀯

My hubby talked me into going to ST Thomas USVI... I cant believe I said yes...So I know we will be busy and enjoying some sun and fun. Not to mention 3 little boys I haven’t seen in a couple of years. So excited! I watched mama grow up into a fine young woman and wonderful mama. Hard to believe she has 3 boys like I did. LoL I’ve never been on a plane or out of the United States.
Funny but first thing I could think of packing was some craft supplies to keep my hands and mind busy. This will be so different. I’m not a big people person because of having multiple chemical sensitivity. Shoot laundry detergent, shampoo and deodorant are horrible triggers not to mention perfume and cologne 😰Can’t take oxygen tank on plane, in case I need it. And insurance turned down using a pulse concentrator. Because they say I need steady flow. So going without. Have new mask and hubby says they have air vents that can blow in my face, so I’m going to try and be positive. This is going to be great!
A couple of reactions are either bawling and feeling like I’ve been beat with a bat from head to toe. Or I can get rather violent and down right mean. So Rescue Remedy, ✔️ meds, ✔️ masks with new filters✔️✔️✔️ I got 3 of them πŸ˜‰
This is going to be in part our second honeymoon. We got married on a Saturday afternoon 37 years ago in May. Early Sunday morning he woke up sicker than a dog (streptococcus) and Monday morning I had it... so we spent our first 2 weeks together πŸ€’. Our boys are grown and have families of there own, so we thought this would be something we could do for ourselves.
This is going to be a great adventure!!! Will post pictures when I can. We leave in a week from today. I can hardly wait...
Until I post again...XO Nana

A Get Well Card

I was able to actually make a whole card this month. WOO HOO well 2 really. HA
This one is made with a digi from Gerda Steiner, she has some of the cutest little things. And if you buy the digi of the month and then get a card made and show her, she will send you the next moths digi for free. So if you keep making cards you earn more digis. If you are like me though I love her digis and end up making something late or not posting then I don't get the next digi. lol such is life... a day late and a dollar short.

Anyway- on to the card. Whenever mom doesn't feel good she wants oatmeal. So tried to make it look like oatmeal in the bowl. The spoon is partially 3D (the handle is glued to the original and the bowl of the spoon is 3D with an 1/8 inch dot) and the Bowl of oats is on thicker foam pads. Hope you like it. I mimicked mom's bowl too it is blue glass. I put paper glaze over the bowl.  She thought it was cute.

Hope you are safe and having a great weekend.
XO Nana

Day 2 of 30 Day Challenge

Well I didn't get any coloring done, but I did un-mount some of my red rubber stamps. I cut up a bunch of glossy photo paper and stamped it with the stamp and then put it in a trading card holder. Not bad..
Love the idea of seeing what I have in a quick glance than rummaging through the boxes of stamps.
I'll get organized yet... Pictures will be posted as soon as I can get them uploaded.
XO Nana

Updated:

This was 2 small box of stamps they all fit in a 11/2" binder. I am using trading card holders. I'll get some picture ones later for the bigger stamps I have.  My niece is going to help me when I am done to organize  all the thank you's and thinking of you, wedding, baby...etc... I think it is going to be real nice when it is all done. I have so many more😡lol

Oldest Grandson graduates

Well it has been 3 months with no post... I have missed it.  I also have been missing my crafting time.
Yesterday I was able to make a card for our oldest grandson as he graduated 8th grade. I know that isn't what they call it now, but same in the end. lol  He got a lovely award for mathematics. I asked our Daughter (il) what he would like as a gift and she said "He is into a lot of drawing and sketching." So I found a good deal on some pencils, charcoal, pads etc... He was very pleased. I wanted to make a special card for him, he is such a sweet young man. I found a digi at The Paper Shelter I thought would be good. It is the Cockatoo Rules! Isn't he cute! I will post a picture of my card and Grandson below. You will see I gave him a green Mohawk, when you see my grandson you will understand why! ha ha ha... And what boy doesn't like motor bikes...

On this picture you can see I used gel pens over pencil and it shined. I'm not real good yet but the tank has a flame job in the top picture.
And here's our boy! So proud of him, top student and also when to state in robotics. When he saw the card his Mom said "Oh look A, he has a green Mohawk too!"
His Mama & Papa were both so proud. Mama tried to kiss him and papa put his hand up, then she tried again and he slid over to his dad's side and his dad kissed him. Oh man you should have seen the face and heard the sounds. rofl His dad  said "Kind'a weird you out?" He was laughing so hard. He has really sprouted this year too. Mama is 5'11 and dad is 6'. I love my kidos!

It was sweet memories in the making here, for sure. My youngest sister to a lot of photos with a really nice camera. I hope I get to see them. These were taken with my phone. Hope you enjoyed seeing our family fun.

It is hard to say Goodbye

For my family...  be it Blood or Spiritual, I am going to stop blogging for now. As it just takes up too much of my time and energies. I am also unsubscribed to almost everything.

I need to get away from the computers and take care of things in my real life. It is always hard to change what we do, but it has to start somewhere and I feel this is best for me right now.

I have learned so much from a lot of different people online, which I greatly appreciate very much.
TLC, The Ton, Altnew, The Paper shelter, Besties, Snoopy's, FPTFY, Splitcoast Stampers, Vera, ADFD, Sami Stamps, Birds, Miss Kate Cuttables, So so many blogs I have followed and learned from. Too many for me to list. Buggabo, TiddlyInks... And this used to be all cake blogs when I was baking, traded paper for the sugar. But it all has to be put into place!

I will still craft but it is going to be after other things are accomplished, or I should say in between things. As I know with my health I will have good days and bad. I just don't want to waste anymore of my good days doing nothing. I need to get more active and I can't do that looking at a computer screen all the time. It has gotten to the point that if we go on vacation I have to have my laptop or Ipad. Not good for communication with the hubby or anyone...

So I will probably check in once or twice a week for now. Instead of off and on all day. I will get weaned from this I am determined!

Love you all so very much and hopefully we can get together soon, Service? or maybe have a meal or watch a show.. but at least spend time together, without my nose in a computer.

XOXO Nana April

Goodbye: A Day For Daisies

This is for the last challenge for A Day For Daisies. This is from Tammy's blog:

A Celebration of Favorites - Challenge #160

So glad you are joining in the final ADFD Blog Challenge to celebrate the thousands of images Tammy has created over the past six and a half years.  The first challenge was back in September of 2010, when the ADFD blog began.  Tammy has sponsored so many challenges on card-making blogs and continues to generously share her images with design team members and as prizes for their challenges.  She is a special talent with an incredibly big heart.
People far and near love Tammy's images, so for this challenge, we invite you to share something you have created with your Favorite ADFD image.   This is just way to share your appreciation for the creative genius behind the images!

So I managed to make a card, this happens to be the first image I fell in love with. So thought it would be appropriate to use. Hope you like it too.
Please look at her blog and join in viewing all the lovely post from the Design Team past and present. Thank you Tammy for all the love and talents you have shared.
